[NLRS] UHF contest?

Must be such great propagation east and north that no body has looked 
towards central Iowa and so far I've made one contact in my own grid. Is 
my rig it that bad shape? or is it the antenna is too directive?

Maybe I will go to HF for the evening. I plan to rove to Cedar Rapids 
very early in the morning and then back west late in the morning.
