Thanks for the update Dave. Exciting. I am the subdeacon at 9:00 Sunday morning. Pat and I go out to breakfast after that, so we won't be around until about 11:30 to catch the end. Let's stay in touch. Enjoy the wedding.

Subject: [BC'ers] UPDATED: UHF Contest plans, W9HQ / KC9MRX / KC9VEM Rover

Two updates to our rover plans:

First, I'm inspired to try and bring along 902 MHz. I've added that to the
spreadsheet. So if we are able to connect in various grids you could get
triple contacts on three bands. What a bargain!

Second, I found that the wedding we're attending is in yet another grid,
with a transition grid on the way. So our journey down there will take us
from EN43 through EN53 through EN52 to our first destination in EN62, where
we will set up and operate for a while.

We will then travel to the wedding starting about 5:30-5:45. Our path will
take us through EN61 and then the wedding itself is in EN51. We'll reverse
that on the way back.

Sunday morning we'll go from EN62 to EN52, go to Mass, then travel to a
set-up location in EN52 where I hope to do all-mode on the three bands for
the last hour of the contest.

Again, we will be sending updates regularly to
http://www.w0uc.com/spots.html and anytime we're' on the road will be
monitoring 446 MHz FM. We'll also have an HT with 223 FM, so if we're
really close to can give that a try as well. When set up at a destination
we'll have all-mode, 222, 432, and 902.

If you want us to connect with you specifically to coordinate via
phone/text/etc. please just let me know.

73 and good luck in the contest,

David W9HQ
