Obviously, the weather will determine whether or not we actually get to test antennas. At
the moment, it looks as if the rain/snow threat is well beyond us to the east. However,
it may be c-o-l-d Saturday morning. Forecast as of last night was for 35° in the morning
and a daytime high of ~55°. I'll have everything with me, so we may be able to pull it
off, but be warned that it may get scrubbed Saturday morning. (Neither the equipment nor
the operators work well at 40° !!)

Sun noise is in better shape. That can be done from a sheltered position near the
building, and all thats really nesessary is to be able to see the sun. Forecast calls for
partly cloudy, so its higher probability than antennas. Barry, VE4MA, will run the Sun
Noise testing. You need to bring the antenna, a stable mount, and transverter. (You
can't hand hold the antenna and expect to get good results.) We don't need the i.f.
radio... just the i.f. output from the transverter. Gary, WB0LJC will have a 432 --> 28
MHz transverter, so we can do i.f.s of 28-32 MHz, 144-148MHz, and 432-436MHz.
