[NLRS] Old 2M antenna Question

Hi all,

 

Thanks for all the great responses on my question.  I appreciate all you
taking time to email me about a good course of action.

 

Consensus is.

 

Point the antenna up in the air to test and tune..

 

I will do this as soon as the winds die down around here. 30 to 40 MPH the
last two days.

 

The antenna did come with a 4:1 Teflon coaxial balun.  It appeared to be in
good condition and appears to be working.

 

Tuning can be accomplished by changing the spacing between the phasing
straps.  If it does not work when pointing up at cold sky, I will give that
a try.

 

No the antenna is not for sale :0  not yet anyway.

 

I will update you when I get back to working on it.
