[NLRS] Kuhne 10 GHz transverter kit question

I am wondering if anyone has experience building the Kuhne 10 GHz transverter kit?
 
I'm curious on the level of difficulty (similar to the DEMI 23cm kit or easier/harder, I've built this one years ago) and what test equipment is needed to tune it up?  I was thinking of taking advantage of Jim's club order to finally get on the band.  If other's were thinking of doing this, how about a couple of group build weekends?
 
I am also interested in hearing thoughts and comparisons of this unit to the DEMI 10 GHz transverter.
