If you follow kc9bqa.com, you know all about the 144.240 net.

Reason I don't post much about it at the BC/SMC/NLRS lists anymore

is because participation from those groups has been low, at best.

I get this because I was a contester first and foremost. But I

have never understood how we can expect to attract hams to

weak-signal VHF/UHF when they don't know where or when

to hear regular activity. Hence the net promotion.

Even if a net doesn't interest you, I kindly ask you help spread

the word. This helps increase the overall health of 2m SSB.

The 144.240 Wed. net has been called by WB9LYH for several

years now. Mark is in EN54cl, central WI, near WI Rapids.
WB9LYH has stacked 17B2's and 500 watts from a ridgetop QTH

and enjoys both local and DX participation.
His antenna pattern from EN54cl is NE, then E, SE, S, SW, W,

NW and N over the next 45-60 minutes, depending on activity

levels.
WB9LYH looks W and NW into MN, the Dakotas and VE-4

from (roughly) 8:30-8:50pm.
