November Elections! Down to the Wire!


It's time for the annual TCFMC elections.
Up for election this year are
 AJ Hirman - N0PVC - Vice President - membership coordinator
 Michael Miller - N0NY - Vice President - Web Master
 And the open position of our club president. 
This year running for president is Richard Waryan - KB0FJB 
Rich will provide a brief statement at the
meeting before ballots are cast.


After the general Meeting, Rich Waryan - KB0FJB - will present
a new Hands On program on building Wire Antennas. Members
of the audience will have the opportunity to build antennas of
their own as well. Bring materials and be prepared to ask
questions and help other club members as well. You may
even get to build the elusive double bazooka!


The November 24th 2014 Twin City FM Club meeting will be at our usual
location, the West Medicine Lake Community Center located at 1705 Forestview
Ln North, Plymouth, MN 7:00 PM - Please find directions at the TCFMC Web

I will not be running again for President.  I consider my time of service to
you as a transition period to send the TCFMC into greater future.  The
future is bright for TCFMC and Ham Radio in general.  We have many new Hams
coming into the hobby but there seems to be a lack of active club membership
among these new recruits.  I believe in club membership.  it allows an
organization to do what no one single person can do either physically or
economically.  We need membership assistance to reach out to these newcomers
and bring them into the fold.  As a 501c3 organization, TCFMC has the
capacity to do what many other clubs can not.  Please assist your new
President and AJ to lead TCFMC forward with a larger membership and more
involvement.  I look forward to the next chapter of the TCFMC.
 
I fully endorse Rich Waryan - KB0FJB for position of President of the TCFMC.
He has Great background in Non-Profits, project management, and fund
raising.  He is very energetic and has the moxy to take TCFMC into the
future.
