Hello NLRS land -

Our chance to use W1AW/0 here in the state of Minnesota returns to us again for the weel of June 11, 0000 UTC to June 17, 2359 UTC. Note that in local time that this is a Tuesday evening to Tuesday evening week long time period. Anyone who is in the state of Minnesota is eligible to use W1AW/0 during this time period.

Full information for this week long event can be found on the main page at http://w0aa.org/ . To reserve a time slot to use W1AW/0 yourself or for your group/club, follow these steps:

Read the information found at http://w0aa.org under "ARRL Centennial QSO Party".
Towards the bottom of that web page click on "Read only link to reservations sheets:" You will be redirect to a public drive that has several Excel spreadsheets.
For HF click on the spreadsheet titled "HF June W1AW". For VHF click on the spreadsheet titled "June W1AW/0 on VHF".
Within the VHF spreadsheet note the tabs along the bottom. There is one tab for each of the seven days. Based on availability as indicated in the spreadsheet please select day(s), time(s), and band(s) that you would like to reserve the use of W1AW/0 and email me your selection(s). Via email I will acknowledge your selection and update the spreadsheet accordingly.
Requests for VHF go to me at w0zq at aol.com. HF requests go to Bill, AC0W, at mnw1aw at charter.net .
You must keep a log of your use of W1AW (read the info on the w0aa.org website).

Please note that the ARRL VHF contest falls within this week long time segment. My goal of finding a multi-op station to use W1AW on multiple bands has failed so we shall treat the contest time slots as any other time slot.

Operating with W1AW/0 is a lot of fun. As this is the second of the two weekends that W1AW will be here in Minnesota, as this is a Centennial event and only happens once every 100 years, I hope that many VHF+ operators will take advantage of this opportunity.

73, Jon
W0ZQ
