Hello NLRS land -
Our regional VHF+ weak signal conference, Aurora, is Saturday April 26. Full information can be found at http://www.nlrs.org/home/aurora . There will be a 2m and up antenna range in the morning and technical presentations (along with a club business meeting) in the afternoon. Aurora is an outstanding opportunity to come and test out your VHF+ antennas, talk with like minded weak signal enthusiast, and to share and learn general knowledge about VHF+.
Bill, K0AWU, is our Technical Chairman and he is working to put on yet another outstanding afternoon program for us. We have one remaining presentation time slot open for any topic of weak signal VHF+ interest. This includes propagation, antennas, operating, building, testing as well as any other life learning events related to VHF+. Presentations at Aurora can often lead to papers and/or presentations for Central States as Aurora is a great opportunity to smoke out a topic. If you have any thoughts about topics and/or presenting at Aurora, please drop a note to Bill, K0AWU at cqbilld at yahoo.com .
Please mark April 26 on your calendar for Aurora'14. I plan to see you there.
73, Jon
W0ZQ
