   Hello NLRS,

I've made a number of updates to kc9bqa.com the past
week. The new updates start on June 7th, and they are all
on the "front page". Please take a few minutes to scroll
thru the headlines and see what you can use to help get
more VHF'ers on the air.

Want everyone to know that the 144.240 Wed. net
(which essentially resurrected the old BC net) is in its 6th
year of operation. WB9LYH has been net control for
several years now and his big signal from EN54cl, near
WI Rapids really keeps 2m SSB lively on Wed. nights.
All VHF'ers are welcome and it really perks up the net
when we get a DX-type check-in from the Dakotas,
outstate MN, or even VE3 or VE4-land.

Realize few contesters "do" nets but pass the word
along anyway, as often times, newer guys to weak-signal
VHF/UHF don't know where or when to find signals and
they lose interest. This is a correctable situation, and that's
what I've been trying to do these past 6-7 years. For those
who have helped, thank you.

NLRS got some good publicity this morning at my blog.
Check out the top post -- hope it helps and NLRS gets
some new members.

Finally, if you haven't used the "signup sheet" that W0UC
created a few weeks ago, for this weekend's VHF Contest,
here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/mojspza

   Thanks, 73,
