I have been back and forth with N0JK who writes the World Above 50.
Jon has told me he does not have people sending him info about anything but six meters.
Guys on a monthly basis, please send some E mails to Jon, ever so little about the upper bands. Clubs - Nets - Outings.
He will be glad to get it in print
Another words - Load him up LOL

Hello Bill et All
Well I have run a 432 net for 3 years on 432.100 despite local complaints
that  we are hogging the calling freq. Nobody is ever heard on the calling
freq. except us.
We have from 3 to 10 guys on 432.100 nightly.
Sadly the only Minn station to check in with any enthusiasm is KC0AKU. How
about helping us with some activity from Minn.
Help us out. 432 is a great band. We have lots of guys running 25 watts and
a single yagi out 300 miles who check in regularly.
We have several stations running big power (200-1500 W) to 2 or 4 yagis. We
work guys from east of Cleveland (N8KXG) To Kansas WA0ARM.
How about turning on your 432 stuff and look toward Northern Ill at 8 PM CST
on SSB 432.100.

This morning there has been some chatter on the MW reflector that has
grown out of planning for the SEVHF conference.  The discussion is around
the decline in VHF/UHF activity. Imagine that! An observation one person
made was, that the last "bubble" in activity may have occurred due to the
VUCC program. I suspect he is correct.  I thought this was a very
interesting observation. One that I had kinda forgotten about.

We are starting to see people selling off the UHF Microwave gear. Marshall
5QE  dumping 902 and above is the latest. Not a good sign.

Anyone have any ideas of other "on air" challenges. One that comes to mind
is the "Above 50MHz" activity sponsored by CSVHF, but it has struggled and
does not encourage "local" weak sig tropo activity all that much.

I could still take another presentation of the 15/20min variety for
AU2014. WE ALL would like to hear about what you are doing in at the bench
or on the air.
