The 1800 UTC Sat Dec 13 Hepburn forecast map is now showing some moderate enhancement for MN. Again, regional. See http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo.html .
Also the APRS propagation map is currently showing regional enhancement. http://aprs.mountainlake.k12.mn.us/
Sure would enjoy some of the 60 degree F air down here at the surface !

.....stuffed phone in pocket and msg sent.
...then temp dropped to +2 as we entered cloud deck. This overcast spreads as
far as the eye can see.
So, I would expect good conditions and wish I had more of a station (in
Woodbury) to check it out.

Skew-T charts. There are a number of weather sites that provide access to such
data, here is one: http://weather.cod.edu/analysis/ . On the Skew-T charts
notice the strong break to the right for temperature with a corresponding break
to the left for dew point. Warm dry air aloft over cooler wet air sometimes
equals tropo. The Hepburn maps are not showing significant enhancement
(http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo.html) but maybe their update that comes out
later today will show improvement. None the less, perhaps there may be some
regional tropo, especially on Saturday. Be interesting to try the uW bands to
see if there is improved propagation.
