Hello NLRS land -

This weekend is the ARRL's 10 GHz and Up contest. Contest points are based on the number of unique calls that a station works along with 1 point per km distance. Bands are 10 GHz and up.

A group of us will be operating from near the top of Buck Hill in EN34ir during both days (no overnight), weather permitting. If you would like to see what uW contesting is like feel free to stop by. There is a 2-wheel drive dirt maintenance road to the top where we operate. The road starts from the far northern end of the parking lot, hops the curb there, proceeds around the back side of the chalet by the base of the hill, then turns right and runs straight up. Its the "main" dirt road that you see. At the top, the road then turns to the left (south) and proceeds upwards to where we operate. If you stop by, please drive slowly, watch for rocks and the few minor washouts, and respect the hill.

We will be monitoring 146.46 FM. Also, my cell number is 952-807-3816. Call anytime but be patient.

73, Jon
W0ZQ
