First weekend, August 16th and 17th

_If your not on the band_and would like to see what we are doing
please stop by for a visit. Someone on the hill will be listening
to 146.46 simplex and can give you directions on how to reach to top.

Do we have loaners for the Buck Hill group?
I have the working AUS loaner that I can pass off to a Buck Hill
op to bring to the hill.

Rovers--
NØUK, KØHAC, WBØLJC
K9PW Pete has 10 and 24 G
*****The rovers plan to use 10368.1 as their main working frequency.
There may be some split operation if 10 G is needed for liaison
for 24 G. The amount of split is unknown at this time.

KCØIYT plans to rove independently working primarily WSJT JT4.
Glen has said he will be in the same general area as the other
             rovers.
What frequency do you plan to use when running WSJT?

_We need more rovers!!_

Buck Hill--
WØJT--John
WØZQ has confirmed he will operate on Buck Hill.
K3SIW--Garry has said he is coming to the Twin Cites and will bring both
       10 and 24 G
NØEDV--Scott will most likely join the group on the hill.
KCØP--Mel has said he is doing better and hopes to be with the group
                     at Buck Hill.
NBØM--Ed will operate from the Hill.
WA2VOI--Donn will be on the hill with his main emphasis
of working Glen on WSJT. What frequency do you plan
              to use when running WSJT?
He may have a 24G rig with very low power.
NØKP--Rumor has it that Big Dish Dave will be on the hill.

WBØVHF--There is a small chance that Ed will join the group
on Buck Hill for a short time Sunday afternoon.
******WØGHZ--Gary may go to the hill on Sunday. He is not available
                 Saturday
*****NØAKC--Charlie hasn't been able to firm up his plans yet.
However, it's most likely that he will join the Buck Hill
             group.

Other ops--
W9FZ and KA9VVQ will start Saturday near Hillsboro, WI. They may
move around the area locally. Sunday they plan to start near
Blue Mounds State Park and travel west and north as they
travel back to Woodbury. More details after this weekend.

How about some news from the rest of you regulars.

Red River Valley Group
Bill, KØAWU, will rove in the Red River Valley on Saturday.
Bill will operate from home on Sunday as time allows.
Wally, WØPHD, will join Bill and rove the RRV.

VE4MA--Barry will operate from home working the RRV group and any
VE's who are roving his area.

Jim, KØMHC, may be of from Summit in support of the RRV rovers,
Dennis, NTØV, and Barry.

W7XU and WBØTEM are undecided but will probably stay not go to Buck
Hill or join the rovers. They may go to Summit.

The contest weekend is just a week away. It's time to speak up
and let everyone know you plans. Even if you will not be on please let
me know.

73, Gary WBØLJC
