I apologize if you receive this more than once, but I have several
important notes if you are planning on attending this Saturday; please
read to the end...

1. There is a funeral at the church Saturday morning. Please park at
the far (east) end of the lot. Tailgating will take place there (more
on that below). We will not be using the entry area of the church to
hang out in the morning. Our usual room on the lower level is available
to us all day; if you don't want to be outside, please head down there.

2. The antenna measuring will unfortunately not take place. Expected
temp at 9:00 is 40deg with a breeze; range set-up would start an hour
before that, and neither the crew nor the equipment function well in
those conditions. Sun noise measurements may still take place.

3. Road closures: nothing that should be a big bother. On the south
side of Minneapolis, Crosstown Hwy 62 will be closed in both
directions. I-94 likewise closed between I-35E (downtown St. Paul) and
Hwy 61; if you are coming from Wisconsin, you would want to head north
on I-694 to White Bear Lake anyway.

4. Tailgating: We deliberately keep this aspect low-key. We do not
need to attract the attention of the state Commerce Department re sales
taxes. It is up to you to follow the rules, but selling your used stuff
is not a problem. Registered attendees are welcome to bring their ham
gear and electronics, in particular VHF+ stuff. Others with general
merchandise are not welcome. Please leave the lot clean.

A warm coat, cap and gloves will be appropriate for the morning, but
it's expected to be dry. See you there!
