Interestingly enough the CPO (Chief Product officer) of Mimosa is a Jamie
Fink and lives in the Bay area. The guy below just received his Tech
license on 01/10/2014. Could they be one in the same??

Subject: [NLRS] FCC seeking public input on petition affectin 10.0 to
10.5GHz
Hello NLRS land -
As you may know an investment group, Mimosa Network, has petitioned the FCC
to add wireless broadband service to the 10.0 to 10.5 GHz spectrum. You
can read about Mimosa Networks at http://mimosa.co/ . You can read some
general background information about the proposal, referred to as FCC
RM-11715, on the ARRLs website at
http://www.arrl.org/news/fcc-invites-public-comment-on-petition-affecting-10
-10-5-ghz-band . The proposal itself, RM-11715, can be found at
http://apps.fcc.gov/ecfs/document/view?id=7022310834 .
The FCC is currently seeking public comments on this proposal. The window
for comments closes April 10.
Providing a comment to this proposal is easy. The FCC link is
http://apps.fcc.gov/ecfs/hotdocket/list . Once there you can search for and
read the public comments that have been provided so far. To do this, at the
top left click on "Search for Files". In the window that pops up type in
"RM-11715" in the Proceedings Number box and then click on "Search for
Comments" button at the bottom. This will take you to the RM-11715 comments
where you can click on any of the comments "View" link to read the comment.
To provide a comment on the proposal click on "Submit a Filing (Express)"
then find "RM-11715" and click on it. That will open up a screen that will
ask you for your name, your address, and it provides a text field to type in
your comments. Pretty easy.
NLRS has responded. Our response is filed under my name, Jon Platt, as I
wasn't aware that it "Name" that shows up ..... I should have entered NLRS.
None the less the response itself states NLRS. Central States VHFS has also
filed a response.
Please take a look at the type of responses provided to the FCC and think
about providing input yourself. Again, the window for comments closes
April 10.
73, Jon
