Soapbox:  I operated from Buck Hill, EN34ir, for both the August and September contest weekends.  We did see some fairly good conditions on the first weekend for a few hours, otherwise nothing out of the ordinary.  Propagation on the second weekend was poor on Saturday and improved to almost normal on Sunday.   Many Q's were made at or near the noise floor with the head phones getting a good work out.  Best DX was to W9FZ down in EN53ca, thanks Bruce.   While the propagation was so-so, the weather was outstanding.
