9:15am Fri .... The N0LAN/b (303miles) continues to be copied here in EN37ed. I am very surprised given the local terrain on that bearing. The signal at time disappears into the noise and at other times 5-2-9. Arliss it is doing great. RE frequency, no opinion here. I am able to only hear the KA0EWQ/b day in and day out. This beacon is also on a very very obstructed bearing. (450ft obstruction 2.5mies away)

  THANKS  73 Bill   K0AWU  EN37ed

Subject: [NLRS] New 2m beacon

Just announcing a 2m beacon that I now have on in EN13lm.
The frequency is 144.297, CW, with 20 watts to 2 stacked loops at
about 95 ft.  The call is my son's call: N0LAN.  I thought that
might be a little less confusing than a W7 in South Dakota and
Nolan liked the idea of using his call.

I hope to have some upgrades/other beacons coming on line in the
future, but this is it for now.

Reception reports would be appreciated.

73,  Arliss  W7XU
