Ugh!
The band was very 'squirrely'. QSB was very deep and slow. On peaks, the
band was 'normal'. Matt KA0PQW in EN33 was not strong by any stretch but
managed to time the QSB to make the contact. Also got Ron, W9ZIH in EN51 at
that time too. Later snagged Ken W9GA in EN53 but that was a major struggle
with QSB. Ron said there was a lot of activity east but didn't hear a peep.
Finished with the 3 Q's in 3 grids for 9 points. EN51 was a ATNO on 222.
Got to test drive my new Microham MK2R+ and its DVK tonight. All worked
great. Still have to find the adjustment for the hang time on the 220 Mhz
Mirage brick amp. The manual says there is an adjustment in the rear of the
amp but I have not been able to find it. First World Problems. :-)
