[NLRS] VHF during Field Day? What our your plans?

I am not involved in planning, but the combined Mining and St Paul Radio Club
Field Day operation in Oakdale last year did have 6M. It was pretty
dead most of the time and if it was possible to add a 2M beam on top
of the 6M beam, there would be plenty of time to pick up a few points
on that band too. The rig was a barefoot FT-847 so I wouldn't expect
more than 50W on 2M.
If your club is unsure about adding VHF, just remind them that it
doesn't count in their band count for category, so it is a freebie if
anyone takes the time to setup and operate it. And if they want to go
for the points, they may be able to get the satellite bonus too.
