I hope that we can do the sun noise test even with less than ideal
conditions. I brought my 10 GHz large dish setup along.

Subject: [NLRS] Antenna Range at Aurora 13
The weather forecast for Saturday continues to be poor, at best.
Currently, it indicates mid-to upper 40's in the morning and strong N-NW
winds. It looks as if the rain will move out Friday evening, however the
cold and wind could make it very unpleasant on the Range (and difficult to
hold the antennas !).
I'll take a look at the forecast on FRIDAY morning, and make a decision then
as to whether or not we'll run the antenna ranges Satudary morning. I'll
try to get it posted here before noon.
If we do scrub the range for Saturday, lets have some discussion at Aurora
about finding an alternative date for just the Range activity. As a talking
point, I'll suggest some dates here:
**** June 15, Saturday
This is the June Breakast date, one week after the June VHF
Contest. We could start at, say 11AM in Mounds Park and run to 2PM.
**** June 29, Saturday
Last Saturday in June, 1 week after Field Day.
Mounds Park, start at 9AM and finish up at 12 noon
**** July 20, Saturday
Mounds Park, start at 9AM and finish up at 12 noon.
Comments welcome.
