This particular clock has no DST on/off/auto function as far as I can
tell, at least I have never found one going through the menu. It is
seemingly just "on" whether I want it or not. It supports 0 to -9 hour
time zones so it is limited to extreme western Europe and the Americas
if you want local time. It also has the option of using 12 or 24 hour
time display. I select zone "0" or -1 for GMT and -6 for local time. It
would be nice to have the "auto" function but the clock does work well
and is easy to see from across the shack. Maybe newer ones have the DST
selection. This unit is at least 6 years old.
I am thinking of getting a new one for the living room, the round
traditional display type. Might wait a bit till the new updated radio
models are available.
More importantly... I need to get my tower back together so I can work
some VHF/UHF DX this spring. Been off the air (other than local coverage
on FM) for over a year now. Top mast bearing seized and messed up the
top tower plate. Lots of work to do!
