Yes, W0GHZ said the same thing in a private e-mail.  I think this is exactly
what happened.  I lent the meter out and this is the first time I've used it
since it came back to me.  I had PL-259 - N adapters in the carrying case,
but I'll bet it got the PL-259 treatment anyway.
