Hello !! Well , this weekend I am going down to the N4PZ home QTH , then proceeding eastward (much eastward) into Maine and possibly stopping by CSVHF conference on the way home ..... We are thinking of bringing along a TS2000 and maybe just an HO loop for 6 meters ( I also am taking along my M2 eggbeater for 144 and using GPS for grid identification ) ...... As you could figure the particulars have not been ironed out as yet , but if we are on the road and 6 opens up you could hear us out on our own 'rove' ..... I probably will concentrate 50.130 upwards if things get crowded . 73s, Ron KA0RYT

It's gonna be nice to be out roving with Janice KA9VVQ for this one.
Since the contest only uses 6m and 2m, that kinda simplifies things.
However, we will have most/all the bands with us since we'll be
traveling to the CSVHFS conference in the following week and parking the
rover in "Rover Row".
6m 160w and dipole We'll carry folks to 50.190 2m 160w and Jr Boomer
CQ'ing on 144.230 (checking 146.55/58
periodically)
We will be chirping APRS on w9fz-15
Look at:
http://aprs.fi/?call=w9fz-15
Our schedule is:
Saturday:
EN43tq 1300L-1430L (1800-1930Z) Vernon County near Hillsboro
EN53fx 1530L-1700L (2030-2200Z) Near Coloma, WI (Waushara County)
EN54fa 1700L-1830L (2200-2330Z) Near Coloma, WI (Waushara County)
EN44xm 1930L-2100L (0030-0200Z) Powers Bluff Co Park Wood County
southeast of Marshfield
Sunday:
EN45xa 0800L-0930L (1300-1430Z) East of Athens, WI Marathon County
EN55aa 1000L-1130L (1500-1630Z) East of Athens, WI Marathon County
EN56bc 1300L-1430L (1800-1930Z) Manitowish Waters Airport Vilas County
EN46sa 1500L-1600L (2000-2100Z) Butternut, WI Ashland County
I can see we are gonna be rushed at the end so we will try to leave EN55
on-time or early. Hope the counties are helpful for WIVUCH chasers.
This will be my first time in Ashland County (wivuch.com)
I will be posting this same schedule at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvU0R8d2qq2DdF92ZWpCRU1TZWt
wSWt2bFhYVHZveXc&usp=sharing
That's a spreadsheet showing all the rover and fixed activity in the
IL/WI/MN++ region (will have to paste the link back together)
We will announce on the calling freqs when we get to a new grid and then
move to 144.230/50.190. You will most likely find us CQ'ing on 144.230.
If you only have 6m, you will hear us pop up on 50.190 from time-to-time
and would love to hear calls tailending there. If you have CW
capability on 6m, that will come in REAL handy. Remember, we will go as
slowly as you send--we want your Q!!!!
Janice and I look forward to working all of our friends in the region
AND new stations too!
