[NLRS] Tropo Today into VE4 from MPLS

It was not as good today...was hearing the Johnson MN 2 m beacon steady, and
TV from Fargo ND but no MPLS. Looked better up towards VE3KRP from MPLS, but
apparently no signals hear from beacons, etc.

Things have started to disappear  now.

Good Morning All,

I got back late 09:45 from a morning walk and noticed the 2m beacon from
Johnson MN coming in very well.  I looked at the UHF TV and saw many MPLS
Digital channels as well as some from ND.  I called W0GHZ and we exchanged
good signals on 432, and a little later weaker signals on 5.7 GHZ but no QSO
there( getting too late..signals dropping.)

The APRS Propagation map was showing strong yellow coverage from here into
most of MN and the signals.

This is at least the second day of this..ED VE3KRP had noted it earlier into
K0AWU area from here....of course Bill is away :-(

..not sure if the weather patterns will change much....going to stay hot
here with some chance of thunderstorms tomorrow

Please keep a watch later tonite/ tomorrow morning
