I was limited when I could operate. I did check 2/440 ssb as often as I could but usually nobody home.

I have been "active" for better than a year on 6/2/432/1.2 and have shared my excitement with many who are not.

I
 think the overall perception is that the primary focus in these parts 
is not on the bands many people have easy access. 6 and 2 primarily.
But,
 that the local focus is on the much higher bands where most do not have
 equipment nor the resources to acquire some. If more chatter were to be
 on centered on increasing activity on 6 and 2 perhaps more would 
participate and then ultimately provide better results for everyone.

For
 me, I'm finding using WSJT on 6 and 2 to be providing the most 
enjoyment on VHF/UHF bands. (And much more consistent activity)

Just sharing my take away thoughts from the weekend.
