I put an email about the upcoming VHF contest on one of the local ES
remailers and got this URL in reply.
<http://www.levinecentral.com/ham/grid_square.php>
This site was offered as a good way to get the grid square of any
location,just by entering the street address and zip code. It works
and looks like it uses Google Maps for the display and to get the
lat-lon. You might want to bookmark the page for future reference. I'd
also suggest adding a link to the NLRS web site to make it easier to
find.
K2DSL has a couple more mapping functions on the site including one
for displaying repeaters in the area. and one for displaying locations
of contacts in your logbook ADIF file. It might be nice to load a
contest log from the 10GHz contest and map it.
