Jim:
From wherever you are in IL or WI, the Buck Hill gang "may" be workable. Early or late each day would probably be best. For us to run with you might require us to move to the other side of the hill to have a good view your way. But maybe no move would be required.
Liaison with me via 651-491-1077. We don't use 144.260 because we usually operate 10g beyond easy 2m range.
Same goes for Brandon. If you think conditions are good or there is well-positioned rain, give me a call.

There will also be a moving rover pack that plans to start out near Montevideo in SW Minnesota running around on & close to an area that is called the Buffalo ridge. The rovers are usually a pretty mobile group working back to the group on Buck Hill and then moving at least ten miles to a new spot. They can usually work in anywhere from 8 to 12 stops per day. You (and anyone else !) are very welcomed to join either group for a day or for the weekend. We are pretty layed back, but enjoy making Q's. Op's can come & go as they want. Let me know if you want more details. We expect maybe 6 to 9 rovers in the rover pack and maybe 10 or so op's that are fixed on the Hill.
