The long and the short of it is that we had a great time!
The weather was absolutely fabulous and I got a lot of super car time with
my son before he heads off to college, so that alone was a big bonus.
I'm going to write this up in more detail for my blog, but basically we
worked all four grids at the Dodgeville corner on Saturday, but nothing
over by Milwaukee because we ran out of time, and only two of our projected
four grids on Sunday morning. But we were very happy with the activity
levels.
We each made 27 QSOs on 222, 27 on 432, and 10 on 902. I'll have to figure
out the multipliers later. Best DX was 271 miles to K9MRI on 222 from EN52
(thanks!) Christopher edged me out by one contact ;o)
More details to come when I get a bit of breathing room to write it up.
But thanks to everybody that we worked. It was a really fun contest and
I'm so happy to be back into the hobby again after a longish hiatus.
73,
David W9HQ
