As Bill (K0AWU) already mentioned, it was very slow going for most of the
contest. And of course, thanks to Murphy, it got so fast during the last 10
minutes of the contest that I missed the chance for 5 QSO's on 902 MHz when
I failed to tail-end on W0GHZ with Mel (KC0P/r) and his family. That would
have bought me almost 700 more points! Oh well, that's how it goes
sometimes. Haste makes waste. You gotta listen for tail-enders! (Sob, sob).
Zero contacts with any of the rovers all day Saturday. Worked 5 different
rovers on Sunday, for a total of 24 QSO's (exactly half of the total number
of QSO's) and 5 unique band-grid combinations, so they contributed a whole
lot to the score in spite of being hard for me to hook up with.

Band QSO's Pts/Q Points Grids
----- ----- ----- ------ -------------------------------------------------
222 17 3 51 8 EN34, EN44, EN35, EN43, EN33, EN25, EN24, EN37
432 22 3 66 8 EN34, EN44, EN35, EN43, EN33, EN25, EN24, EN37
902 3 6 18 3 EN34, ____, EN35, ____, ____, EN25, ____, ____
1.2G 6 6 36 4 EN34, ____, EN35, ____, ____, EN25, EN24, ____
----- ----- ----- ------ -------------------------------------------------
Total 48 171 x 23 = 3933

Now it's time to get psyched up for the 10 GHz & Up Contest, only 13 days
away!
