Good morning,
After finding out the 1500W SSA I am getting for 222 will take 40W of drive I have upgraded my 25W DEMI 222 transverter to the 60W
model. It should be here and running in a few days. As a consequence I have some surplus 222 equipment I would like to find a
good home for. I have the following:
1. DEMI 222-28 with COMMRF-OPT and DUALVHFLO. This is a current model DEMI transverter and works quite well. It is set
up for switched T/R on the antenna side and split RX and TX on the radio side. It is currently set up to work with my Flex 5K / Anon
Hermes board at 0dBm on the transmit side. With pot adjustment it will work down to –20dBm, with component changes it will
work up to 10W. I added the Apollo board and set it up to have both an internal local oscillator and a 10MHz slaved PLL oscillator
selectable by front panel switch. Unit is clean and cosmetically very nice. Asking $450 plus shipping.
2. A Mirage C2512G 120W 222MHz amp. Nice unit and while it is one of the “black face” units it has been well tested by two owner.
The DEMI drives it well but for WSJT modes an external fan is a good idea as it heats up a bit. Very clean and blemish free.
Asking $250 plus shipping.
Pictures on request.
I will take $650 plus shipping if someone wants both units. If you live in a state that I do not have on 222 I will throw in the shipping
if you agree to get on WSJT and work me meteor scatter.
