I'm sure its fun and interesting and the surplus tour made the stores 
lots of money, but I decided I'd rather spend the money on radios than 
travel this time. Take good notes and tell me what Pawlan has to say 
about the GaN amplifier construction. I'm sure he won't keep it a secret 
long, he likes to be published. And will probably send a copy of the 
presentation if asked or even have copies at the conference to hand out. 
Thank Will for the boards he sent, they will make 24 GHz even more 
practical, and the copper foil for making grounds for the transistors 
just arrived, half mil thick. Need to get some transistors on order.

Do the modern NE3517S02 work better than the NE32584C used in Europe but 
are no longer made? Better than the 36077 at 24 GHz? Leads may be a bit 
short and hand assembly is going to be a pain. I see 32584 can be bought 
from Italy and on epay from China. What are the odds they are something 
else remarked and so bogus like many of the MRF286 from China these days?
