Before I forget, I still have several of the 24" Macomm prime focus
parabolic dishes with 24GHz feed and fiberglass radome. If you email to
say you want one, I will bring it with me to Aurora next Saturday. These
dishes are similar to what Chris N0UK uses for 10GHz, but you'd have to
build your own feed if you want to use it there.
If you can't pick it up, maybe you have a friend who will be attending
Aurora.... It is possible to mail the dish but not too cost effective
and it can easily get bent if you try. Shipping weight is around 15-20
pounds in an oversize box near 30x30x24, plus buying the box and packing
materials.
BTW, if you have a spare 10GHz button-hook feed for a 24" Macomm dish,
I'd like to trade you for it. I do like this dish and want to keep one
for 10GHz. FWIW, I believe several others have made their own 10GHz feed
for these dishes using 3/4" copper water pipe.
