Hi Zack & All
The beacons are 1296.274 and 432.280 approx. 1296.274 is ten watts split up
and feeding and two 12 foot loop yagis. One pointed at Mpls and the other
toward the SW and been heard in Ks City.
432 is 100 watts and soon will be feeding a pair of big wheel type antennas
at 70 feet. Until then its feeding a cylindrical parabola pointed SW with a
very broad horizontal pattern. Being heard from Michigan all the way around
to Mpls. N0IRS reports it's (432) there all the time and minimum signal S2.
They will be back on next friday night and I will try to get the two big
wheels up the following week.
If anyone has a 10 Ghz or other microwave beacon they would like to donate,
I have 12 volts to power that free with solar/wind power.

Hi Steve,
I heard the 432 beacon down here in EN50rl a while back. I think it
was during the 432 Spring Sprint. I didn't hear it this past weekend
in the contest.
What frequency is the 1296 beacon on? Which way is the antenna
pointed, or is it an omni antenna?
