Hello,
I realize a lot of this info will be redundant to long-time V/U
contesters. What I'm asking you to do is spread it to hams who
need help getting their V/U contesting fire lit.
Thanks for your time...
Trying to spread the word to hams everywhere about the
2012 summer V/U contest season kicking off this weekend
with the ARRL June VHF QSO Party.
http://www.arrl.org/june-vhf-qso-party
I have made several short posts to kc9bqa.com that are
designed to get any ham interested in V/UHF contesting.
1) Full summer V/U contest calendar
2) Link to the popular Google spreadsheet where those
who are within 300-350 miles of WI are welcome to post
their plans and see other hams' plans for this weekend.
3) The complete set of my instructional articles called
VHF Contesting School. These are designed to get any
ham with at least 6m or 2m to feel comfortable getting
behind the mic and calling "CQ Contest"
4) A basic announcement for this weekend's contest,
along with helpful hints to get more enjoyment out of 6m.
You can help VHF'ers everywhere by steering hams you
know toward the posts I've made at kc9bqa.com. We
always need more signals on our bands.
Thanks, 73,
