The map shows a good blob of long range APRS activity centered in
northern Missouri-Kansas and running all the way into Minnesota,
Wisconsin, and South Dakota. There is another good blob down in
Texas-Alabama.

Now would be a good time to beam south and see what happens. I'm still
looking for confirmation that these APRS captures are accurate
predictors of 2M weak signal openings. My next step is to find a good 2M
beacon list. :-)

DX Sherlock is not showing activity on 6M or 2M and only a couple QSOs
on 10M. PropNet does show a few captures on 10M indicating some solid
propagation from Texas to Wyoming, but nothing into our area. WSPRnet
shows one 10M capture from Texas to Illinois. Only APRS has enough
active stations on 2M to have a hope of showing any localized openings,
or not so local openings...

73, Doug.
