Well, the WX forecast is kind of marginal (from NWS):
Tonight: 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4am.
Sunday: 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10am.
I think we should try it UNLESS its actually raining at, say 0800. This is kind
of the last chance to test before the 10GHz Contest.
Next weekend (28 July) is Central States in Cedar Rapids.
The weekend after that (4 August) is the UHF Contest.
The weekend of 11 August is Breakfast (in Roseville), but doesn't leave much
time for corrective action should it be needed. (After breakfast could be a
last minute test session for simple things....)
THEN, the weekend of 18 Aug is the contest !
I'll plan on being there ~ 0830 and start setting up. With some help, we can be
ready to go at 0900, as a couple people need to leave no later than 0930.
Do-able for sensitivity testing. We'll do that first, and then antenna
measurements. WE could be done and gone by 1100.
Again, if its RAINING AT 0800, its CANCELLED. If we do go, we may be walking in
wet grass, so plan accordingly.

PS If someone would remember their handheld, it would cut down on the running
back and forth.
