Thanks for the heads-up Barry.
There will be a human beacon to monitor tonight. :)
Remember that WB9LYH from EN54cl will be on 144.240
tonight, starting at 0100Z/8pm central. We've just entered the
5th year of Wednesday nets. All hams in any direction are
welcome to listen along and say hello. Please help us spread
the word.
Mark has stacked 17B2's and 500w from a ridgetop QTH
right in the middle of WI. Plus he loves DX check-ins.
2 weeks ago, he had great conditions during the Wed. net.
Said it was his most fun net to date. Details about that, along
with plenty of other V/UHF news are always available at
kc9bqa.com.
I know WB9LYH would enjoy check-ins from any/all
stations in VE4, VE3, the Dakotas, and MN. If you have a
good station, you can take advantage of his 300-500 mile
range under average conditions. With some enhancement,
who knows how far?
WB9LYH's pattern is to look east first, then south,
and west and northwest toward the end of the net. This
could be any time from 8:30-40 until about 9:00-20pm.
Need more info? It's always at kc9bqa.com, just like
it has been for over 3 years now.
Enjoy, 73,
