Wed. Long-Range 2m SSB Nets:
144.240 net at 0100Z hosted by WB9LYH EN54cl.
Stacked 17B2's and 500w from a ridgetop QTH in the
middle of WI.
144.250 net at 0130Z hosted by K8TQK EM89je.
Whopping signal from south-central OH.
Both net controls start out looking north, then call CQ
frequently as they rotate clockwise over the next hour or so.
Nets are informal; only purpose is to make 2m SSB more
active. All are welcome, and DX is encouraged to try making
that 400-500+ mile trip. Please help us spread the word.
More detail always available at kc9bqa.com.
For instance, there's a post with my early impressions of
the VHF contest last weekend. Because I was sick and off
the air, I'd appreciate hearing what others experienced.
I have read the emails that have come into the Midwest
V/UHF club reflectors -- thanks for those.
