2nd VHF event...

Lots of room for improvement..HI

Thanks for everyone's patience with me on the bands.

Hearing was very hard for me as the moist air had power poles arcing all around. Only quiet Azimuth was 225-270 degrees. (Not much in that direction) The noise cost me 3 grids on modes from ND and NE that I can regularly work. Got emails from stations there that heard my CQ's but I did not hear them.  :( :( 

Sure enjoying these contests and am looking to improve on what I have so any advice is welcome.

Highlights were making Q's on 1296. Put up a looper in August and until this weekend had only 1 Q to show for the "investment". HI
