[NLRS] AU2012 progress and needs

Thanks for those that have stepped forward with ideas and offers of presentations for May 12 AU2012. I am glad to say that hings are starting to take form. 

I have a couple of areas that I need leads and feedback on: 

(1) Since JT will not be available for media support any longer, we need to cover that void. Is there someone that can provide AV support?? I think in the passed, we have used the churches PA system but with a "local" mixer for inclusion of computer file sound. Of course we will need a video projector and laptop from which to launch the presentations. A person to load the presentations and sequence them at the appropriate time is also needed. This has in the past involved wireless "clickers", laser pointers etc. ANY HELP?? 

How much of this exists with the churches system?? 

(2) Does anyone have any experience with the "pallet" amps that are now being used by some for 500w and even a KW on 6 or 2m? Lots of stuff on the 
web, but anyone with practical experience??
