[NLRS] Mirage Amp Question...

I don't, but I wonder what value capacitor you used.   My guess is that it should be pretty small, like a few pF ?   Does the SWR/Overload light come on as soon as you turn the amp on, or when you drive it with 10 watts?    Did you try driving it with less power?

Anyone have experience with the B5016G mirage amp?  This is an older unit that 
eems to work fine as long as your keying it externally.  However the owner of 
his amp might want to use rf sensed switching instead.  
What I found so far is someone removed the small cap that goes from the rf input 
o the sensing circuitry.  I replaced that cap to see if it was then functional, 
nd it merely trips the SWR/Overload light and shuts down.  I can’t find any 
djustment for the swr sensitivity and the only schematic I was able to find 
nline was for the B1016G which doesn’t even come close to matching what I am 
eeing on the board in this unit.
Any ideas??
