Bill, as a simple plug in solution, a magicjack works great if you have a
fast computer and HS connection. It is really cheap I am about to convert
my home pots to a MagicJack Plus as I am tired of 60.00 a month to receive
sales and fundraising calls

Subject: [NLRS] K0AWU email address change & phone # soon
Hello all .... note the new email address. Fiber optics have arrived in the
woods , FAST internet, new email addresses and phone number is the result.
I am tired of ISP provided email accounts that have forced me to change
email address three times in the last 5 yrs, so I have moved my email to
Yahoo to avoid that in the future too, I hope.
10GHz ers and other that have an interest, after 37yrs a different PHONE
NUMBER -- STARTING Wed next week (Feb 15th) my phone number will be
1-218-999-9658
I am looking into internet based long distance for the shack at least. The
new company's long distance package is HORRID ... We will use a prepaid
phone card for some of that, but that will limit us to US only. Calls in
state MN-MN increase the rate by 5x over out of state calls... Crazy. The
above phone number will be good for all calls. Calls FROM me may be from a
different number, we will see. Anyone have comments on internet phone
service (long distance only for our use) Skype, Magic Jack ect.
------
AU2012 --- We could still use a couple of presentations .... neat projects,
activities, observations etc 20min in length.
Thanks -- 73 Bill K0AWU
