I am calling the 144.240 net both tonight and on April 11th.
I fill in when WB9LYH is unavailable. I start at 0000Z by
looking north, then swing gradually clockwise from there,
covering a full 360 over the next 60-90 minutes.
**WE SWITCH TO SUMMER HOURS STARTING
APRIL 11TH. START TIME WILL THEN BE 0100Z
UNTIL AT LEAST OCT. This only affects the .240 net.**
K8TQK has slid his net up to 144.252. He's moved up
2kc to get clear of a new noise source on 144.250. Look
for Bob's big signal from EM89 at his 0030Z start time.
Bob also starts out looking north, then swings clockwise
over the next hour. Last week he was particularly busy,
and his net ran nearly an hour and a half. Detailed net reports
are always available at kc9bqa.com.
On Wednesdays we're at the ON4KST.com ham chat site.
Lots going on there, 7 days a week, both mornings and evenings.
You want the IARU Region 2 chat for 144-432 MHz.
If you need the 7 simple steps to get signed up to this
free, no BS chat, click here: http://kc9bqa.com/?p=1072
Well over 2000 USA/VE hams have registered and there's
an average of 80-100 VHF'ers visiting every day.
