K9JK/R will be out, roving around the Chicago NW Suburban "local
4" EN51/61/52/62 Grid Corner, but with undetermined antenna
configuration, perhaps only a KB6KQ 2m Loop (which is what I'll
use while moving) but I hope to have some sort of directional
capability that I can raise 15-20 feet in the air when stopped,
even if only 3 elements (an M^2 2M3-SS). Having parted with my
Ranger ROVER, I've not yet come up with a good/fast/safe way to
raise something like my 2M9 (or 2M9minus2 if I go with just the
7 elements of the 2M9) when roving in the CoROVERolla.

No definite schedule but planning to start at EN62ad, then to
the spot where I can go back and forth between EN51xx and EN52xa
within the same parking lot , followed by EN61ax and possibly
some recircling right AT the Grid Corner for anyone missed
previously or late arrivers. I'll be trying to use 144.180 for
an operating frequency but will visit 144.200 frequently,
especially upon changing grids.

Here's hoping that there will be some propagation tonight.

Any Michigan or other Eastern Time Zone readers, please remember
to point toward the west for us Central Time Zoners after your
first hour.

73, JK
