I'll be on the air for most of the VHF contest. Just swing your beams
Northwest of the Twin Cities towards En26ha (just North of Alexandria, MN).
Thanks to Jon W0ZQ and Gary W0GHZ I've been able to verify that ABCD9EFG at
all working with the exception of a non-functional, mast mounted pre amp on
0.7 meter (now bypassed). It looks like the rotators are rotating so
hopefully many of the upper Midwest weak signal operators will be on the air
for at least some of the VHF contest.

My goal is to record the IF bandbass for "most" of the QSOs so that they can
be used in my Weak Signal >HF project. You should be able to tune around and
listen to some of the activity after the fact.

I'm available to help pre-test your equipment before the start of the VHF
test at 1 PM CDST on Saturday. Just drop me an Email to set it up for any of
these bands. Also, schedules will be accepted prior to contest for contacts
during the contest.

Remember that Bruce W9FZ is promoting Midwest Mania again. Check it out at:
http://w9fz.com/midwestmania11/

Lastly, let's hear it for the rovers!!!!!!!

Subject: [NLRS] September VHF Contest and activity time

Hello NLRS land

Yo, its the ARRL September VHF contest, anyone going to be on? Its been
awfully quiet on the reflector. If you plan to be on for a bit, let us
know. You can also post your plans to the W0UC activity spreadsheet by
going to http://www.nlrs.org/ then click on W0UC ARRL September VHF Contest
Activity Spreadsheet . W0ZQ will be active on and off throughout the
contest from home, EN34, on 6m through 3456.

Is there enough interest for having a uW activity hour off of Downtown here
in the big city? Something like say 10:00 am Sunday? Comments ?
Depending on what I have going on, I may do a mini-rove at this time with 6,
2, 432, 5.7 and 10gig in EN34/35. Feedback pse.

73, Jon
W0ZQ
