Yet another positive and "learning" experience in the
CoROVERolla, learning that there is definitely a difference on 6
meters in NOT being able to elevate the loop as I could when
using the Ranger Rover.

Activity was quite light though I was able to complete from all
four of the grids I visited with two "locals", KO9A and WA9FIH,
thanks to the Jims for being on. The lightness of activity also
enabled (encouraged?) Mike, WB8BZK/R, and me to do a full Grid
Circle dance (which is over 1/2 of my QSO total). Two other "not
as locals", K9BWQ (around 45 km) and K9KEU (around 65 km) were
also tapped for two QSOs each, Thanks Frank and John.

I heard several "DX" stations, W0UC, K8TQK, both on CW and SSB
but could not get their attention. I'm pretty sure that Mike
worked W0UC from at least two of his stops (and either with his
beam or his loop at a higher elevation than the 9-10 feet I had
in the CoROVERolla set-up). I also heard N9LB on sideband,
possibly working K8TQK but could not get Lloyd's attention
either.

The "highlight" of my evening was a completion with W9FF on CW
from EN62ad to EN40tf (if hamcall.net is correct for Grid-6 for
Roger), just shy of 300km. Thanks to Roger for his "heavy
lifting".

Score Summary:
      MyGrid Qs QPts Mults
      EN51 7 7 4 = 28
      EN52 7 7 4 = 28
      EN61 7 7 4 = 28
      EN62 8 8 5 = 40

      Total 29 29 17 124

Thanks to ALL who were on and to the Southeast VHF Society for
their continued sponsorship of the Fall Sprints.

NOW...what to do until January for VHF Radio Sport activity ;-(.
I may have to play with those LONG waves.

73, JK
