I had a good time in general. Things were pretty quiet on Saturday
during the day. By evening, things turned nice!
I probably should have done the reverse route and more could have
taken advantage of EN46/56 when conditions were better. Basically, I
thought Saturday was dead. Big RF sponge and low activity levels.
I appreciated the fixed stations who tracked me down in all of the
grids: W9RM, W9GA, W9RPM, WV9E, W0ZQ, and K2DRH. And it was nice to
run across many of the BC'ers and NLRS'ers multiple times
While 144.250 was nice and quiet and made our q's there easy, Only you
regulars found me there. I think it was too far from the action in
this contest (with these activity levels).
Highlights were W8BYA EN70, the Q's out to EN21 and EN10, and K0MHC in
EN26. Nice to have W0ANH, K0MVJ, and K0KP on for a reason to turn
north. I kept looking for K0AWU but never found him.
Heard K9JK/R and called but was not heard.
