Good evening,
Made several updates to kc9bqa.com tonight. It's always
best to visit there for full details. I try as best I can to keep
the emails on the shorter side. (You can all stop laughing now!)
Anyway, our nets are ON as usual tomorrow night. BUT...
KA0KYZ doesn't think he'll be home in time to take his net
on 144.230 at 0200Z/9pm central. So if you hear dead air
on .230, try picking up the mic and putting out a call. You
just may create activity, which is exactly our goal.
K8TQK on 144.250 at 0030Z and WB9LYH on 144.240
at 0100Z are *ON* as usual.
We've had great conditions and dozens of check-ins the
past two weeks. All of you who are helping, give yourselves
a pat on the back.
Want to remind you fellows about the CQ WW VHF
Contest this weekend. Starts 1800Z Sat., July 16 and runs
27 hours, until 2100Z Sun., July 17. The best news is that
we may have dynamite mid-summer band conditions. Lots
of heat and humidity will expand north, so be on the lookout
for good tropo.

Spread the word about the contest this weekend. If you
have plans to operate and you're within about 300-400 miles of
WI, please post your plans to this Google spreadsheet created
by W0UC.
