In response to a query at the end of an earlier posting that I
made:

Glen asked:

I don't write the rules for the Fall Sprints, I just read them
(and will try to follow them).
The "entity" to ask that specific question is probably someone
at the Southeast VHF Society and I note the following paragraph
on the Fall Sprints "home page" (
http://svhfs.org/sprints.html ):
While the rules for Sprints vary by year, we are always
open to suggestions on how to improve them for the
future. If you have an idea on how to make the Fall
Sprints better for next year (different dates, times, rule
change, etc.) please drop the Fall Sprints Chairman a
note and help out. This year, as a result of several
requests, we will be using 6 character grid squares
for 432 and microwave.
I am NOT one of the "requesters" for the Fall Sprints to do this
though I admit to being the instigator of SIX-character
exchanges for the Spring Sprints which may have spurred
"interest" by others for the Fall Sprints.
So...Glen (or anyone)...why not "drop the Fall Sprints Chairman
a note" and ask?
